Dear Candidate,
We are hiring for Sales Coordinator, to support the sales and business development activities within an engineering, industrial, or machinery manufacturing company in Navi Mumbai.
1. Core Responsibilities (Job Duties)
The Sales Coordinator acts as the crucial link between the sales team, clients, and internal departments (like Engineering/Production and Logistics/Accounts).
Sales Support & Administration:
Quotation and Proposal Preparation: Preparing accurate and detailed quotations, techno-commercial offers, and proforma invoices based on specifications provided by the Sales Engineers.
Order Processing: Managing the end-to-end sales order cycle, including receiving Purchase Orders (POs), generating internal Work Orders, and coordinating with production/logistics for timely dispatch.
Documentation: Maintaining and updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system or Excel registers with accurate data on leads, inquiries, sales activities, and order status.
MIS Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on sales performance, quotation status, pending payments, and stock availability for management review.
Client Communication & Follow-up:
Inquiry Management: Monitoring and responding to all inbound sales inquiries from B2B portals, emails, and phone calls promptly.
Client Follow-up: Conducting regular follow-ups with clients regarding the status of quotations submitted, outstanding payments, and dispatch/delivery confirmation.
Coordination: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving basic queries, and coordinating client requirements with the technical/engineering team.
Internal Coordination:
Liaising with the Production/Engineering Department to get updates on order manufacturing status and product availability.
Coordinating with the Accounts Team for invoice generation, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
Providing administrative support (scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, material dispatch) to the Field Sales team.
2. Key Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.Com/B.Sc/B.E preferred) or relevant technical Diploma.
Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Inside Sales, or Sales Administration, preferably within an Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Goods company (B2B experience is a plus).
Technical Proficiency: Excellent command over MS Office, particularly MS Excel (for reports, data analysis, and tracking). Familiarity with any CRM software is a significant advantage.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for drafting professional emails and interacting with clients.
Attributes: Highly organized, meticulous attention to detail, strong multi-tasking and time management abilities.
3. Salary Expectation
The expected salary range of up to ₹35,000 per month (CTC) is highly competitive for a Sales Coordinator role with 1-4 years of experience in the Navi Mumbai region, especially within the Engineering sector. Final offer will depend on your interview performance, relevant experience, and specific technical skills.
