Currently, we are hiring a Procurement Manager with proven experience in the food industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and supply chain coordination.
Position: Procurement Manager
Salary Range: ₹50,000 to ₹75,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
Job Description:
Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging, and consumables related to the food industry.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality norms, and company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports.
Control procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
Handle vendor audits, documentation, and dispute resolution.
Work closely with finance, quality assurance, and operations teams.
Eligibility & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Knowledge of food regulations, quality standards, and vendor compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
