We are currently hiring for the position of Senior Automation Engineer for our client located in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pharmaceutical automation, PLC programming, and control system integration with strong technical expertise and project management capabilities.

Key Skills & Responsibilities
Design, program, test, and commission control systems for pharma and food process industries.
Evaluate customer requirements and select appropriate PLC, HMI, and SCADA models as per URS.
Develop I/O lists based on P&ID and URS specifications.
Write and debug programming logic for automation systems and ensure successful project execution.
Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time completion of assigned tasks.
Communicate project updates, changes in scope, and customer feedback to the project management team.
Possess working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation wiring and basic troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&ID drawings.
Develop software using .NET, VB/VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL/SQL+, or other high-level languages.
Exposure to AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar design software preferred.
Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and commissioning activities at customer sites.
Prepare and maintain functional specifications and validation documentation as per GMP requirements.
Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed for project commissioning.
Exhibit strong English communication skills, both verbal and written; additional languages are an advantage.
Maintain a professional attitude, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and teamwork spirit.
Requirements:
Prior experience in pharmaceutical automation and process equipment control is mandatory.
Strong understanding of GMP practices, automation systems, and project commissioning procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
