Dear Candidate,
We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman with hands-on experience in AutoCAD within the pharmaceutical process industry, particularly in the design and detailing of vessels, liquid manufacturing, ointment, and sugar syrup plants. The candidate will be responsible for preparing precise engineering drawings and layouts in compliance with project specifications and GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and modify 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings for pharmaceutical process equipment and piping layouts.
Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for vessels, liquid manufacturing units, ointment sections, and sugar syrup preparation systems.
Develop and update P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and GA (General Arrangement) drawings.
Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs.
Maintain drawing records and revisions as per project documentation requirements.
Ensure all drawings comply with GMP and safety standards.
Assist engineers in layout planning, material estimation, and technical documentation.
Provide design support during equipment installation or modification.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in pharma or process equipment industry.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D) and familiarity with mechanical drawing standards.
Understanding of pharmaceutical process flow diagrams and plant layouts.
Ability to interpret and draft fabrication drawings, P&IDs, and GA layouts.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
